You can delete contacts or distribution lists from an address book if you have the permission to delete items from this address book.
You cannot delete contacts from the address book.
If you delete a distribution list, the distribution list's contacts are kept.
How to delete contacts:
Select at least one contact or distribution list in the list view.
Click the icon in the tool bar.
Confirm that you want to delete the items.
Tip:
When having completed the action and depending on the user setting, a button for undoing the action will be displayed at the bottom of the display area for a short while.
In the Address Book settings, under the section, you can specify how long items remain in the trash before they are deleted.
